- Inspired by the octagonal-shaped writing pieces of the 1920s, with Egyptian engravings but with a modern, up-to-date writing experience, Montblanc shows us the Heritage Egyptomany Special Edition rollerball. This model features hieroglyphics in its cap with the meaning of "Montblanc", special packaging, and a beetle in its clip, a deified and worshipped animal, which was especially related to the god Khepri and the ability to self-regenerate. Its black colour is reminiscent of the first Montblanc fountain pens made of ebonite.
