- Whenever the subject of aviation comes up, the name of Glycine is mentioned as one of the pioneers of watchmaking for pilots and frequent travellers. Best known for its 24-hour Airman, that became legendary for being the first watch with multiple time-zones. In this case, three different time-zones, thanks to the GMT hand and the bidirectional rotating bezel power up by a screw in crown at 4. It is equipped with two crowns: one to manipulate the movement, while the other locks the rotating bezel, a locking plate system inspired in the 1950s by Glycine’s designers. The black leather of the strap makes a classic and elegant design.
