This model features hieroglyphics in its cap with the meaning of "Montblanc", special packaging, and a beetle in its clip, a deified and worshipped animal, which was especially related to the god Khepri and the ability to self-regenerate. Its black colour is reminiscent of the first Montblanc fountain pens made of ebonite.
