- To celebrate its centenary, Namiki has created these original Yukari fountain pens. Each model is made in Maki-e and honors one of the 7 Lucky Gods, the most popular in Japan. This goddess is the only woman in the collection. She represents the Japanese version of the Hindu deity Saraswati, the goddess of water and the sea. Today, she is revered as the goddess of wisdom and represents virtue in marriage. On the body of the pen, she can be seen playing the Biwa, a traditional Japanese lute. On the cap, an iridescent wave recalls her connection with water.
