- Around the World in Eighty Days is the famous adventure novel by the French writer Jules Verne, published in 1873. In the story, Phileas Fogg, a wealthy British gentleman and his French valet Passepartout, try to go around the world in 80 Days for a £ 20,000 bet. This Montblanc "Around the World in 80 Days" collection brings to life the first part of the adventure, from London to Bombay via Italy and Egypt. This LeGrand Solitaire piece has the body and cap in translucent lacquer with a milled pattern of key elements of the trip: sea waves, playing cards and steamboat.
