Urushi lacquer and charcoal powder are used to highlight the main fish design in high relief. The raised elements are then smoothed to achieve a gradient and polished to a uniform shine. In this fountain pen, you can see several golden fish, symbols of good luck and fortune. The artisan for this piece is Seiki.
