On 4 March 2022 Warner Bros Pictures released the new film in the DC Comics saga, The Batman. This version of Batman is dark, gritty and raw, with a plot that focuses on the early crime-fighting career of young Bruce Wayne. Montegrappa couldn't pass up the opportunity to join this great event and presents The Batman (Limited Edition).
In keeping with the spirit of the film, the design features extreme tactical styling with engineering, materials and finishes to match. The body of the pieces are made from 5-axis CNC milled grade 2 titanium, adorned in polished brass with black ruthenium and stainless steel.
The brass components are manufactured by machine turning and wax casting; the latter technique is used for the intricate cap appendages and the Batman emblem on the body. This logo is also laser engraved on the cap.
The spring-loaded clip is inspired by the superhero's signature pistol, and five gripping hooks are mounted on the back of the cap.
