- The Namiki Nippon Art Toy-Kendama represents a traditional Japanese skill toy. It consists of a handle (ken), a pair of cups (sarado), and a ball (tama) all connected by a string. This fountain pen was created through a collaboration of maki-e artists (Kokkokai) and features the Hira Maki-e technique, where the lacquered main design is adorned with sprinkled gold and silver powders. Several additional layers of lacquer are applied, and once hardened, it is polished.
